Front-loading washing machines offer larger loads, less laundry time
Front-load washers offer the same cleaning abilities as the top-end
loading machines of the past, but require less water and less soap.
"Because there's less water, the cleaning ends up being a little
better because the soap concentration is usually a little higher," says
DeMar Young, president of Sure Appliance. "Because of their efficiency,
they are a largely requested item."
Front-load washers use about one-third of the amount of water, which
saves homeowners money on water, heating and soap costs and makes the
wash cycle faster, as well.
