Bid on this year’s Cougar House!
Every year members of the Utah Valley Home Builders Association build a Cougar House from which the proceeds of the sale of the home benefit BYU students through scholarships.

Cougar House VIII is Home #3 in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes and open for you to visit.  While touring the home, place your bid to purchase the home.
    BIDDING PROCEDURES:
    • Bidding will start at $445,000.
    • The final purchase price will be just $5,000 above the second highest bid.  You can confidentially bid as high as you would be willing to go, while still being assured that you will be able to purchase the home for only slightly more than what the second- place bidder was willing to pay.
    • Each bidder will be required to post a $5,000 deposit with the UVHBA, which will be refunded if you are not the highest bidder.
    • The auction end time will be 9 pm on the last day of the 2008 Utah Valley Parade of Homes - June 14, 2008.
    • If the winning bidder is unable to close within 21 days of the end of the auction, their deposit shall be forfeited and the home will be sold to the second highest bidder.
    • The bid increment will be $5,000.
    • There is a "buy it now" option.  Prior to the start of the auction, the home may be purchased for $525,000, which is $20,000 below the appraised value.
